$2 million in pot plants seized from SoCal home - San Jose Mercury News: "Authorities have seized 1,800 marijuana plants worth an estimated $2 million from a home in Fontana in San Bernardino County.
A release from the Los Angeles County sheriff's department says its Asian Gang Team served a warrant on the home, in what officials called a 'quiet, well-groomed neighborhood' Friday, found the pot plants along with water and lighting systems and arrested 38-year-old Lanson Quin.
Los Angeles County deputies made the arrest because the team had received information from an anonymous tipster in the San Gabriel Valley and obtained a warrant from an LA County judge."
