British tourist was found dead in his room, the police are now trying to find out who sold the heroin to him and <br />his partner at Calangute. Nigel Smith, 62, was found dead in his room early Sunday morning. His live-in partner, a French national, Anne Francoise, informed the police that on Saturday night they had both gone to sleep in their rented room in Calangute after consuming heroin. The lady told the police that they had purchased the drug from someone in Calangute, but added that she will not be able identify the seller. "Nigel must have woken up in the night maybe to go to the bathroom, lost his balance and fallen on the floor. His head must have hit the ground and he must have collapsed. She said that when she woke up at about 2 am she found him dead," police sources added.
